Activities

May is the “shoulder season” at Snowbird. There should not be any snow around the lodge, but there will be snow on the mountain. So those who want to ski can do so (see below). Most of the summer activities at the resort will not yet be open. There will be limited hiking available. As one of the activities, we plan on taking the tram to the top of “Hidden Peak”, where there is a coffee shop and an excellent view of the Wasatch Mountain range and a view of the Salt Lake Valley.

Skiing Options:

The resort will still be open for those who wish to come early or stay a day or two later and ski.  Skiing will likely be limited to the higher mountain elevations.

Spring skiing
Summer skiing will be available with terrain limited to the higher elevations.
