As organizers of the ASYNC conference we are still hopeful that the conference will take place at Snowbird, and are moving forward with that plan in mind. We recognize that the personal interactions and discussions that occur provide significant value to many individuals in our community that is difficult to achieve in a remote on-line environment.

With that in mind, the health and safety of all participants is paramount. The corona virus (COVID-19) is affecting the organization of many public events with international audiences and will potentially affect the plans of people making arrangements to attend ASYNC 2020 in Snowbird. The ASYNC organizers are working with IEEE and our venue to ensure full attention to public health and safety if the event can take place at Snowbird this May. If not, we are considering all options in order to get the most value possible out of the conference this year.

We are currently deferring registration for the conference as we continue to assess the situation. We will keep this web page up to date and notify presenters via email as the situation evolves.

Please email Ken and Erik if you have questions or concerns, or would like to be notified about registration and updates to the conference.
