Focus areas include several societally relevant engineering disciplines, including digitalisation,<br \/>\nsustainable energy technologies, life science \u2013 and of course audio!<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-48 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/M1_room-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"474\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/M1_room-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/M1_room-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/M1_room-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/M1_room.jpg 1147w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>LOCATION<\/h3>\n<p>ASYNC will be held in the Meeting Center M1 of Technical University of Denmark, it is located in the main building 101: Anker Engelunds Vej 101, 2800 Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>DTU\u2019s main campus is located north of Copenhagen near the suburb of Lyngby, 13.5 kilometres north off Copenhagen city centre. More than 100 buildings are scattered across the 106-hectare great plain, which is divided into four quadrants. The campus is safe and secure and a site of great natural beauty with wooded areas, inner courtyards and gardens sports fields and a central avenue nestled in the gaps between the buildings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49\" src=\"https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/map_detail.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/map_detail.jpg 430w, https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/map_detail-238x300.jpg 238w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Accommodation<\/h3>\n<p>As DTU is a public institution we are not permitted to recommend or facilitate with special offers specific hotels. Locations that have direct public transport connections to the campus are in Copenhagen the area around Norreport Station via Express Bus 150S\/15E (inside the city and well connected to the airport) and Lyngby via Bus 300S\/40E\/190\/181 or the new light rail (more outside the city), in general the public transport in Copenhagen is reliable and very frequent. There are also Hotels\/Accommodations in the direct surrounding of the campus.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you reach out to your colleges and synchronize.<\/p>\n<h3>Visas<\/h3>\n<p>If you require a visa invitation letter, please contact eventsupport@compute.dtu.dk after your registration, and we will be happy to send one to you!<\/p>\n<h3>Air Transportation<\/h3>\n<p>Copenhagen Airport (CHP) is located directly outside of Copenhagen and is well connected via Metro (M2 ~18min from the city center) and local trains.<\/p>\n<h3>Local Transportation and Parking<\/h3>\n<p>The Campus of DTU is connected via express busses (150S and 15E ~ 25min) to the city center of Copenhagen (Norreport Station) from there you get a direct metro to the airport or local trains and other metro lines (via Konges Nytov) to every where in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Further the Campus is connected busses 300S, 190, 40E and 181 to Lyngby Station for connection to the local train network (S-trains) with direct connections to Osterport, Norreport, Copenhagen main station.<\/p>\n<p>For coming by Car DTU has plenty of free parking spaces directly next to the conference location Building 101.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Technical University of Denmark &#8211; often simply referred to as DTU &#8211; was founded in 1829 at the initiative of Hans Christian \u00d8rsted (the father of electromagnetism) to develop and create value using the natural sciences and the technical sciences to benefit society.
