The 26th symposium will be held <strong>May 17-20, 2020<\/strong>, in <strong>Snowbird, Utah, USA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Important Dates:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abstract Registration &#8212; passed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Paper Submission Deadline &#8212; passed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Notification sent out on\u00a0 Feb 24, 2020<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submission for Fresh Idea and Demo\/Poster Track still possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/asyncsymposium.org\/async2020\/cfp\/\">Call for Papers<\/a> for details and submission instructions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> REGARDING REGISTRATION AND TRAVEL<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>Please Note: ASYNC 2020 is now a \u201cpublication only\u201d conference.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After evaluating the current COVID-19 situation, and in consultation with the IEEE and members of the Steering Committee, the decision has been made to transform the in-person component of ASYNC 2020 into a publication-only conference. <b>Therefore<\/b>,\u00a0<b>ASYNC 2020 will no longer take place at Snowbird, Utah,\u00a0 but will still have published proceedings.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Because of this shift, and because there are real costs involved in paper submission, review, and publication, all authors of published papers are required to \u201cregister\u201d for ASYNC 2020 to help cover the publication costs.
